There is much truth in this article and I am glad it has been printed.....

Many bloggers are asking important questions and turning the spotlight of TRUTH upon those who prefer to hide their secret deeds behind closed doors.

PLEASE! GIVE US MORE LIGHT AND TRUTH! PLEASE!

Nah. I am, in the words of the article, merely one of the "voices from the proverbial peanut gallery," which I think means that I am just a goober. :-)

That's cool! I quoted myself once in a sermon, and, trust me, it's not that cool...

I can't believe that they didn't even mention pewism.

Tom,

On May 27th, I heard the sermon of Ergun Caner from TRBC regarding his feelings about Calvinism. The title of his message was, "Why I Am Predestined Not to be a HYPER-Calvinist" (all caps mine). As expected most of what he said consisted of knocking over all of the typical "straw men" that have been used over the years. I was interested, though, that he consistently used the term "hyper"-Calvinist in regard to his remarks. Of course, this makes his depiction even more heinous to those who have never taken the time to even study the subject. He did some ranting and raving (even spit a little), but I think every objection that he raised can be adequately answered by a calm and measured response. I'm sad that he seems to be so angry about the issue, but I think that he is, by nature, a rather blunt guy. I guess to him, it's "his way or the highway". Thanks for allowing me to post.

Tom,

We have many people in this city :)

(I'm serious! Even people that work for the ultra-libral AJC!)

as another Atlanta resident...good to see the AJC is keeping up with the SBC controversies. Your quote was a good one btw.

I believe today we have more freedom of press than ever before and because of that freedom we will see more abuses made known and more corrupt powerbrokers made broke because of their power.

Let us remember that in spite of all this fun denom politicking there is still a great Kingdom work to be done. Your blog reminds us of this so well.

Hey all of you Atlanta people...are there any good radio stations there where my boyfriend (future husband) could get a job or an internship or something? He's looking to go into radio, and we're probably going to be moving down to the Atlanta area after we get married. Might be inappropriate to ask here, but I see there are a lot of Atlanta residents, so I had to ask! :)
