Friday is for Photos, August 18, 2006

My daughter, Rebecca, took this picture one morning last Spring just before she and her sisters left for their college classes. We have some heavy fog during the Spring in Southwest Florida. This shot captures the beauty of that haze that remains just before the fog dissipates under the warming influence of the sun.

Tom, this wasn't shot with a digital camera was it?

There is a fine scriptural sermon in this photograph by Rebecca.

In all our lives there are those numerous fogs that are dissipated by the SON!

It has happened hundreds of times in my own life.

Elias:

The shot was taken with a digital camera--a Nikon D50.

That is a beautiful picture. Makes you just want to praise God for the beauty of His creation. And for eyes to see it. And a mind to sing His praises.

Oh, those were all sentence fragments, almost. Oops. Oh well.

Dr. Ascol:

Is this picture original size? And when I click on it, I get a broken link. But I can't get over how pretty it is. I'm using it for my desktop wallpaper right now; hope you don't mind! :)
