SBC-Indianapolis #2, Founders Breakfast

Eric Redmond hit a homerun in his message this morning at the Founders Breakfast. He preached out of 2 Chronicles 34 on "The Reformation that Must Come." It was bold, courageous, insightful and prophetic. An audio of the message will be made available as soon as possible, hopefully, by the end of the week at the latest.

You will definitely want to listen to this one.

There's nothing like "live," but I'm more than happy to eagerly anticipate the "Memorex."

Thanks, by the way, for hooking us up with such great speakers!

Eric Redmond knocked the ball out of the park this morning. He was not afraid, even in his SBC position, to say things that needed to be said. I think he would make an excellent nominee for the SBC presidency down the line... or earlier today for that matter.

God is so good! Hopefully, this is only the beginning of more Biblical reform in our churches.

If anyone can find a final version of this amendment online, as passed, please post that link here. I want it to share in my church.

Tom- what's the next step? I thank God for your persistence and faithfulness.

I am shocked and amazed!!! Praise God!!! Finally we see a glimmer of repentance in our denomination for our wicked deceitfulness and lack of caring for the unregenerate on our church rolls.

Let's not forget, though, that repentance has not happened- yet. We have publicly acknowledged, through Tom's insistence, that we have been guilty of sin in this area. The tough work is still ahead, but this sure is an encouraging day.

I agree with David Milton ...

Whoop!

The Mighty Lakers get a "W" and so does the SBC.

Life is getting good.
