Friday is for creative children with too much time on their hands

Our Christmas staff party got a little out of hand this week. Here is the result, featuring my fellow pastors, Asael Gonzalez, Ken Puls and Tim Brister along with our chairman of deacons, John Swaska. The credit goes to two of my children whose time for leisure is exceeded only by their creativity. ;-)

I must say, I am a little bothered by the caricature of my dancing skills. I say we do this for real by video taping a competition on DDR and posting it on YouTube.

I will even dress for the occasion. ;)

This reminds me of a Church that's gone seeker friendly, emerging, and all that. Was this done during yall's worship service?

I don't know about Calvinism and inviting the dreaded Presbyterians and all, but surely dressing as an elf and dancing are against the BFM! You are in sooooooo much trouble! :)>+

(Good job to your children on the video and Merry Christmas!)

I don't know, Pastor. It seems awfully close to close to clapping to me. :)

Much fun! Thanks for sharing. I'm shaking my head trying to imagine what would have happened if the man who pastored the church when I was a teen had been parodied this way. I'm certain there would have been censure at a minimum and likely full bore church discipline. I am grateful for your sense of humor

I think this was the opening scene at the Bellevue Christmas pageant last year. Of course, I could be mistaken.
